Hiawatha Log Homes, located in the heart of the Hiawatha National Forest has been producing quality log homes since 1983. Both rustic handcrafted and traditional milled styles are available. The rustic handcrafted option features a fully handcrafted roof system. Wall logs are finished by hand, giving each log a rustic appeal. Traditional milled homes are also available using our double tongue & groove or Swedish cope systems. Norway pine and Northern white Cedar logs are structurally graded and kiln-dried for unsurpassed stability. Profile styles include 8”, 10” or 12” diameter full round or D-style logs with full-log corners, milled smooth. Corners are saddle notched, increasing the wall system’s structural integrity while maintaining the aesthetic quality of a finely crafted log home. The Evergreen model shown is a classic example of the double tongue & groove system using Norway pine, and is a featured model in Hiawatha’s Planbook.

Over 31 years ago, we realized the most important feature a log home company can provide is NOT made of wood! Your family, your life... does not revolve around your log home... it's just the "place" where it all happens. We at Heritage Log Homes are here to make that "place" something special and unique...a place where you and your family can enjoy living the log home lifestyle with solid satisfaction in your decision to build a Heritage Log Home.

Heritage Log Homes is the only manufacturer featuring a lifetime warranty, a maintenance-free, self-tightening thru-bolt system, and a patented double tongue and groove log-on-log system. Combine this leadership with a variety of log styles and customizable floor plans and nothing will compare to the strength, the natural beauty, or the value of a log home by Heritage.

We will always focus on you... providing the attention you deserve for your log home project. Let us concern ourselves with the wood... you focus on what's more important... beginning your family's heritage in a Heritage Log Home.
