Hiawatha Log Homes
Hiawatha Log Homes, located in the heart of the Hiawatha National Forest has been producing quality log homes since 1983. Both rustic handcrafted and traditional milled styles are available. The rustic handcrafted option features a fully handcrafted roof system. Wall logs are finished by hand, giving each log a rustic appeal. Traditional milled homes are also available using our double tongue & groove or Swedish cope systems. Norway pine and Northern white Cedar logs are structurally graded and kiln-dried for unsurpassed stability. Profile styles include 8”, 10” or 12” diameter full round or D-style logs with full-log corners, milled smooth. Corners are saddle notched, increasing the wall system’s structural integrity while maintaining the aesthetic quality of a finely crafted log home.
